San Antonio was a place we found ourselves visiting in the summer of 2007.  I was pregnant with Kalyra and we had decided to go there to with the idea of investing in property.

Whilst there we discovered a city that is steeped in history and a fun place to explore.

Our arrival coincided with a San Antonio Spurs NBA Championship win so were able to experience the winning boat parade down along the river walk, which would have to be a San Antonio highlight.

San Antonio is definitely worth a visit, especially for families, and we have partnered with SAVE to be part of their San Antonio Summer Sweepstakes, giving you the opportunity to win a family holiday to San Antonio.

To cool off, ride Journey to Atlantis which is part roller-coaster, part water ride or dip into the Lost Lagoon.

Enchanted Springs Ranch, a western movie set and animal park, is rated by Oprah as one of the best “Wacky Family Attractions“ for 2008.

This 86 acre working ranch excites visitors from all over the world with its rugged, natural beauty, collection of exotic animals, and authentic time warp a Western town right out of the 1800s with real live cowboys and cowgirls.

All tours depart from the San Antonio Visitor Information Center, across the street from the Alamo. Each person gets an MP3 Player – making the tour more self-guided.

Tours include visits to significant historic sites, including the Alamo, Menger Hotel, La Villita, the River Walk and Market Square.
